Our story begins in Milan in 1969, when Stefano and Liliana Della Fonte opened the family’s first jewellery shop in Via Meravigli, one of the most prestigious streets in the city centre.

Our story
In 1992 the second jewellery shop was opened at the heart of Corso Vercelli, which has always been one of the most exclusive and elegant areas of Milan. It was here that Stefano began experimenting with precious stones and decided to introduce a brand new collection of jewellery.
In 1999, his eldest son Alberto became a certified gemmologist and joined the family business, bringing innovative ideas and a modern creative flair.

In 2008, after an experience in the fashion world, his younger brother Federico also began his journey within the company, bringing a wave of fresh creative intuition: the result of a natural inclination cultivated over the years.
In 2014 Alberto and Federico decide that the time has come for a big change, taking over the business in what will be a true evolution of family’s traditions.
While Alberto tends to customers’ needs taking care of relations with goldsmiths’ workshops and suppliers, Federico travels the world to unearth precious gems and gather new inspirations. The goal is always the same: to offer clients the highest quality of Made in Italy.
The two brothers set up important partnerships with international cut diamond companies and precious stones. This is how the Della Fonte brand was born and the handcrafted production of each piece of jewellery sold in the boutique began.
The one for precious stones is a family passion that Alberto and Federico were determined to explore, resulting in new design masterpieces of high jewellery. Della Fonte creations feature diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires of the highest quality, enhanced by an elegant and contemporary design made possible today by the cutting-edge techniques offered by 3D design.
The variety of Della Fonte designs offered over the years have become symbols of refinement and exclusivity to be handed down from generation to generation.
